Candid.

I am not a frequent writer, nor am I an excellent one, but I like what words can do for you. It can take you to places you’ve never been before. Or it can bring out your imagination to life.Make it more real. Writing, somehow, makes the world more tangible.

I always write whenever inspiration hits. But it has been a really long time since I last wrote. Am I looking for appreciation? Maybe, maybe not. I am not sure. It’s not something I specifically look for. Who doesn’t like to be appreciated though, right? But in the end, it comes down to whether I am doing what I like to do or not. I feel like I have been running away. Trying to prove to the world that I am good enough. It gets harder everyday. But I don’t want to stop. I, somehow feel that suffering through it now is important. Like it’s a sign. I don’t want to get too comfortable, and then get stuck. The world, as they say, is your runway. If you fall down, you get up and start again.

Being idealistic is romantic. One can’t always afford to live like that. Being a realist is much more important. But giving up on your dreams to be realistic? What will we ever do if we didn’t dream?

In the words of the famous artists to our dreams –

“I’ve been running through the jungle
I’ve been running with the wolves
To get to you, to get to you
I’ve been down the darkest alleys
Saw the dark side of the moon
To get to you, to get to you
I’ve looked for love in every stranger
Took too much to ease the anger
All for you, yeah, all for you
I’ve been running through the jungle
I’ve been crying with the wolves
To get to you, to get to you, to get to you”

I want to write more, but until inspiration hits again.
Until next time,
Elf&T.

“All men dream: but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds wake in the day to find that it was vanity: but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act their dreams with open eyes, to make it possible.”
